Thanks to all of you for being here to read about the many ways assisted reproduction is affecting our world. As the year wraps up, I had a look back on some of the stories I was glad to have written in 2022. Below are a few of them, some newly unpaywalled. For the next two weeks, you can read them in full even if you are not a paying subscriber. Feel free also to share them with any friends who might be interested.
Thank you also to everyone who helped me this year. Whether it's sending tips my way or correcting errors, proofreading or social media advice, complaints or praise — it is all appreciated.
As I mentioned last week, I am planning to build a searchable website in 2023, so that the stories you've been reading here these last five years will be searchable by subject. If you'd like to lend support to this initiative, please click below to make a donation. Any amount is much appreciated. Thank you!

Here are some favourite stories from 2022:
"Is it okay to offer cut-rate IVF in return for a patient's sperm?"
"Would a test of my father's embryo have predicted the man he would become?"
"A pregnant trans man describes what it's like"
"How often do 'bad' embryos lead to 'good' babies?"
"It's okay to not freeze your eggs"
"What do donor-conceived people owe half-siblings and others in their new families?"
If you are not already a paying subscriber, why not become one today?
If you are already a paying subscriber, thank you so much for helping to make this independent work possible!
Note: There will be no December roundup. HeyReprotech will be back mid-January.
