Questions no one asked at the egg freezing webinar
People thinking about freezing their eggs should ask clear questions and demand clear answers.
Recently I sat in on a webinar about egg freezing. It was one of those casual online events where there's a presentation by a doctor followed by questions from attendees. I don't know who was there or why, but I assume it was mostly young women thinking about freezing their eggs as a way to extend their fertility.
I was struck by how few questions were asked, and how so many seemed vague and unclear. I was also struck by how incomprehensible some of the answers were.
Below, I share what I would ask if I were a young person considering egg freezing.
